JOURNEY-SAMHSA Grant
The Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board has been awarded a $9 Million, six-year federal grant by the Center for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to serve youth, ages 14-21, with serious emotional disturbances. The grant will fund a new project called Journey to Successful Living (JOURNEY), which will strategically build upon an existing partnership between the mental health and substance abuse system, child welfare system, juvenile justice system, and/or mental retardation and developmental disability system.
