New Crisis Center Provides Emergency Behavioral Health Services
Turning Crisis into Care — Built by Local Providers, for Our Community
We’re proud to announce the opening of the Hamilton County Crisis Center, located at 510 Oak Street (Avondale). The center gives adults a single place to get immediate help during a mental health or substance use crisis, with services coordinated under one roof.
At the Crisis Center, adults (18+) can access a full continuum of crisis care, including:
-
Immediate crisis care and short-term stabilization
-
Help managing withdrawal from opioids or alcohol, plus recovery support
-
Hospital step-down and smooth transition back to the community
-
On-site primary care and pharmacy access to support overall wellness
Planned with Cincinnati Police at the table, the center includes a dedicated hand-off space so officers can bring individuals in crisis directly to treatment—not jail or the ER. And with on-site care coordination, people can move from crisis to recovery within a single, connected system.
